I've been an avid lurker here since before you had that flip out, where you imagined you were firing your CD. That was a real high point for this voyeur - really compelling reading. Anyway - I really love your blog. And it was my birthday yesterday too. All I got was a copy of Richard Yates' 'The Easter Parade' with an inscription saying something along the lines of - "Have a bleak birthday fucker." I thought it would be most apposite to share that with you. So happy birthday.

That post was a really long time ago, have you been reading since then in the hope of a return to form?
Actually since I've been having a rather better time, writing this blog has been less compulsive for me, and no doubt less compelling for its readers.
